Emil Zeiler, Jr., who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Friday, June 25, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born May 7, 1946, in Worland, Wyoming, to Emil Zeiler, Sr. and Elaine S. Depperschmidt Zeiler. He was 75 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Emil Zeiler, Sr.; and a brother, Richard Zeiler.

Emil was a retired traveling salesperson for Katun Corporation in Minnesota. He was an U.S. Army veteran, former Post Commander at American Legion Post 249 in Wickes, Arkansas, and member of the Harris-Hannah VFW Post 6527 in Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deborah Floyd Zeiler; two daughters, Crystal Burns of Alma and Shawna Lamb of Hot Springs; his mother, Elaine; a sister, Carol Barlow of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, Joel Zeiler of Paducah, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Jonathon Burns, Arabella Decker, James Lamb, Jr., Jasmine Lamb, Michael Decker, and Luke Burns; one great-grandson, Daniel Wagnor.
