Edward Joseph "Eddie" Kleck, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born October 12, 1952 in Paris, Arkansas to the late William H. "Willie" Kleck and Christine Ann "Kay" (Huck) Kleck. He was 61 years old.
Eddie was a self-employed painter. He was a 1970 graduate of County Line High School. He served in the Army National Guard and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Ratcliff.
Prayer services will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 11th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Deacon Mark Verkamp officiating. Burial of cremains will be at St. Anthony Cemetery, located north of Caulksville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his son, Heath Kleck and fiancée Amanda Morstad of Fort Hood, Texas; two sisters, Rita Shelby and husband David of Branch and Luann Moschner and husband George of Fort Smith; his long-time companion, Eula Elmore of Huntington; three nieces, Stacy Ralston and husband Ed of Fort Smith, Kayla and Paige Moschner of Fort Smith; one nephew, Kendall Shelby and wife Jennifer of Fort Smith; two great-nieces, Shelby Ralston and Ella Shelby and two great-nephews, Caden Ralston and Evan Shelby.
Family will visit with friends Thursday night following the prayer service.
