Obituary
Edna Lee Ethridge, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith. She was born July 20, 1918 in Clarksville, Arkansas to the late Sam Martin and Lula (Carter) Martin. She was 93 years old.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Ethridge; her twin brother, Elmer Lee Martin; son, Raymond Hugh Ethridge; sister, Margie Smothers; brother, Clarence Leon Martin; and grandson, Kevin Hurley.
Edna was a homemaker and member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Charleston.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 17th at Steephill Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by one daughter, Margaret Hurley and husband Orval "Dean" of Charleston; one brother, Lawrence Martin of Molden, Missouri; (3) grandchildren; (13) great-grandson's; and (5) great-great grandchildren.
Family will visit with friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
