William Edward Storey, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, died Monday, April 25, 2022, at  his home. He was born in Charleston on September 29, 1941, the first child of the late Marvin Edward (Shorty) Storey and Freda Katherine (Woods) Storey. He was 80 years old. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Benjamin Storey and a sister, Billie Sandra Storey Sawyer.

Ed lived in Charleston all of his life with the exception of a couple of years in California. He loved guns, hunting, and sports. Ed went to business college in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after he graduated high school in 1959. He earned an associate's degree and went to work for Whirlpool, Inc. in Fort Smith. Ed served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He loved country music and playing his guitar. He especially loved spending time with his kids and grandkids picking and singing. Ed was a Christian who believed what the Bible said.  He assured his family that he was "right with God." We loved him dearly, and we can look forward to the day we reunite with him in Heaven.
