Rev. Earl Speegle Douglas, who resided in Van Buren, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 17, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 16, 1931, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to the late Eubon F. Douglas and Thelma (Craig) Douglas. He was 90 years old. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie, and two brothers, James and Paul.

Earl was a graduate of Charleston High School. He was a retired minister of the Gospel and member of the Pentecostal Church of God.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 21st at Nixon Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by four sons, Mike Douglas and wife Nancy of Austin, Texas, Dennis Douglas and wife Sally of Marshall, Texas, Ronald Douglas of Monrovia, California, and Robert Douglas of Van Buren; a sister, Janie Pearle Stewart of California; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
