Earl Douglas Dunlap, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Countryside Estates Nursing in Warner, Oklahoma. He was born on July 24, 1956, in Barstow, California, to the late Earl Willis Dunlap and Viola H. (Gains) Dunlap. He was almost 66 years old.

Douglas was a retired security guard and served in the U.S. Army. He loved reading, animals, and always had a sweet tooth.

A memorial graveside service will be held Friday, July 22nd at 12:00 p.m., at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, with military honors, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Charles Hollibough.

He is survived by his brother, Gary Dunlap and wife Neva of Fort Smith; his sister, Caroline Goodloe and husband Dennis of Conway, Arkansas; three nieces and one nephew.
