Obituary

Douglas H. Dickerson resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010, at the Turner Memorial Mercy Hospital in Ozark. He was born December 31, 1921 near the Barnes Community in Franklin County to the late Herman Dickerson and Edith (Gillispi) Dickerson. He was 88 years old.

He was a road builder, a ranch hand and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Dickerson; one daughter, Diane (Dickerson) Davis and two step-sons, Jack & Bobby Dickerson.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 11th, at the Lowes Creek Cemetery, north of Branch, with the Rev. Jimmy Cook officiating, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Robbins of John Day, Oregon; one son, Grant Dickerson of Oregon; three step-sons, Jerry, Michael, & Danny Dickerson; one sister, Verna Moser of Sun City, Florida and several grandchildren.
