Obituary

Dorothy Evelyn Williams of Charleston, Arkansas, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at her home. She was born on April 15, 1942, in Charleston to the late Fred Pierce and Cleo (Bonner) Pierce. She was 82 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Williams; a daughter, Kathy Green; three brothers, Ray Dean Pierce, Harley Pierce and Donnie Pierce; and two sisters, Rose Mary Jones and Darlene Mantooth.

For several years, Dorothy worked in the nursery and was a member of First Baptist Church in Charleston. She was a life-long resident of Charleston and loved her small town very much. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 23rd, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Martin of Charleston; a son, Michael Williams and wife Bethany of Charleston; a brother, Larry Pierce and wife Yvonne of Greenwood; a sister, Velta Oxford and husband Everett of Mansfield; (8) grandchildren; and (17) great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Robby Green, Preston Green, L.J. Rofkahr, Mark McCormick, Terry Harrower, and Chris Martin.
