Obituary
Dorothy Jean Sewell resided in Branch, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009, in her home. She was born April 16, 1931 in Charleston, Arkansas to the late Jim A. Inklebarger and Mildred O. Carter Inklebarger. She was 78 years old.
She was a seamstress for over 20 years at the Ladyfair Mills Company near Ratcliff and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Branch.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the Mt. Hope Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Larry Huffman officiating, with burial at the Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Theron "Perch" Sewell, of the home; two daughters, Sandra Wilkinson of Russellville and Phyllis Moffet of Branch; one sister, Elsie Flint of Branch; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey Reynolds, Don Wilkinson, Sonny Cole, Steve McCarley, Danny Sewell and Reed Haynes.
Family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home in Charleston.
