Doris Marie Smith, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at her home. She was born July 22, 1941 in Coats, North Carolina to the late Alfred Lee Mann and Francinia J. (Jones) Mann. She was 71 years old.

Doris was a retired supervisor for Klein Tools in Fort Smith and was a member of the Charleston Jaycettes.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 22nd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Hampton Cemetery, north of Branch, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

Officiating the service will be the Rev. Vondal Davenport.

She is survived by two sons, Rick McFerran and wife Regina and Ron McFerran and wife Daniele, all of Charleston; one sister, Helen Eymer of Lillington, North Carolina; two brothers, A.J. Mann of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Garland Mann of Lillington, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Megan, Austin, Cameron, and Haley, and one great-grandson, Zephyr.

Pallbearers will be Rick McFerran, Ron McFerran, Jim McFerran, Bill McFerran, Bruce McFerran, and Brian McFerran.

Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
