Obituary
Doris Eulene "Douglas" Powell resided at West Fork, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, Ocotber 20, 2008, in Springdale. She was born May 26, 1928 in Charleston, Arkansas to the late Cleo Francis Douglas and Susie Ibison Douglas. She was 80 years old.
She was the owner & operator of Douglas Feed & Seed Store in Danville, Arkansas, member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Danville and a member of the First Baptist Church in Danville.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2008, at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston. Her body will be cremated following the service.
She is survived by one daughter, Dr. Susan Powell of Winslow, Arkansas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harold Powell.
Family visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
