Doris Diane Dercqu, who resided in Etna, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at her home. She was born February 9, 1974 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Richard H. Dercqu and Judy (Miller) Dercqu. She was 40 years old. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard H. Dercqu.
Doris was a CNA and was a member of Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 12th, at Baxley Cemetery in Paris, with the Rev. Bill Van Meter officiating, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
She is survived by her fiancé, Richard Whitecotton of Etna; one daughter, Kayla Howell of Etna; two sons, Brandon Self and Colton Ming, both of Russellville; two step-daughters, Marcella Whitecotton of Washington and Maegan Whitecotton of Mulberry; two step-sons, Christopher Whitecotton of Rogers and Charles Whitecotton of Etna; her mother and step-father, Judy and David Good of Cabot; one sister, Melissa Swatloski of Cabot; two brothers, Teddy Crowell of Texas and Andre Dercqu of New Jersey; her maternal grandmother, Doris Rita Miller of New Jersey; two granddaughters, Jaiden Self and Lily Self; one step-grandson, Braiden Thorsell.
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. Friday night at the funeral home in Paris.
