Donna Kay Looney, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born August 29, 1946 in Tampa, Florida to the late Robert A. Garlock and Mary Katherine (Cranford) Garlock. She was 69 years old.
Donna was a homemaker. She raised and sold Pekingese puppies and was a member of West-Ark Church of Christ in Fort Smith. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 11th, at West-Ark Church of Christ in Fort Smith, with Mr. Chris Benjamin officiating. Burial will be at Potts Cemetery, located southeast of Charleston in Franklin County, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Don Looney; one daughter, Elaine Hill and husband Chris of Wynne, Arkansas; two sons, Jason Looney and wife Julie of Castle Rock, Colorado and Matt Looney and wife Tamara of Little Rock; one sister, DeDe Neamtz and husband Kurt of Ocala, Florida; one brother, Robert A. Garlock of Memphis, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Tristen Hill, Jaden Hill, and Anneka Looney.
Pallbearers will be Jason Looney, Matt Looney, Chris Hill, Allen Looney, Jr., Dewayne Binz, Scott Neamtz and Erik Neamtz.
Honorary pallbearers will be C.A. Kuykendall and Kurt Neamtz
Family will visit with friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at the funeral home.
