Obituary

Donna Faye Carley, who resided in Carbon City, near Paris, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020, at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born September 3, 1949, in Altus, Arkansas, to the late Nelson Edward Turner and Daisy Mae Miller Turner. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by a half-brother.

Donna was a skilled and creative seamstress and enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a truck driver for many years, and she retired from EXCEL/Cargill plant in Booneville.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald L. Carley; one sisters, Linda Evans and husband David of Fort Smith; her chosen family, daughter, Tina Weir and husband Ray of Booneville; three grandsons, LeRoy Wooten and wife Mari of Booneville, Zachery Weir of Kansas City, Missouri, and Matthew Weir of Joplin, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Malachi and Madilyn Wooten of Booneville; and daughter, Anita Tallman of Kennewick, Washington. She is also survived by four biological children, Anthony (Tony) Howard of Paris, Michael Howard of Ozark, Kimberly Bowman of Ozark, and Travis Howard of Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
