Donald Franklin Brown of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 2, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 15, 1945, in DeQueen, Arkansas, to the late Clarence Donald Brown and Lyla Jean (Bard) Brown. He was 79 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Diana Lynn Brown; a son, Bo Brown; and two brothers, David Brown and Mike Brown.

For several years, Don was a truck driver and was an U.S. Navy Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia (Musgrove) Brown; a sister, Glenda Brown of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
