Obituary

Dona Lee Sosebee, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021, in Charleston. She was born December 31, 1948, in Fort Smith, to the late Alfred (Bud) Dixon and Montez (Lacy) Dixon. She was 72 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Sammy Dixon.

Dona served as Activities Director at Greenhurst Nursing Center, was a member of Vesta Baptist Church and was Queen of the Chicken Mafia. She was full of life, filled with giggles and loved her family with everything she had within her.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12 th , at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with Rev. Jeff Holland and Rev. John Stewart officiating, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon McChristian and husband Randy of Barling; her son, Cody Sosebee of Vesta; three grandchildren, Jonathan Tedford and wife Brooke, Jessica Grenier and husband Richard and Jeremy Tedford; seven great-grandchildren; her longtime companion, Bobby Neissl and his family; two nieces and a host of beloved friends.

Family will visit with friends 1 hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
