Everett Donald Armstrong, who resided in Ratcliff, Arkansas, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born September 29, 1953 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Harry Armstrong and Rita (Jones) Armstrong Goldsberry. He was 60 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Armstrong.
Don was an information technology specialist for Envision Computer Associates in Fort Smith. After he served in the U.S. Navy, he worked for IBM, Holt Krock Clinic, and Sparks Medical Systems. Don was a Christian.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 16th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will be at Berkley Cemetery in Cecil, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Kemp Holden.
Don is survived by his wife of 14 years, Shari (Langston) Armstrong; two daughters, Brandy French and Bridget Armstrong, both of Canandaigua, New York; one step-daughter, Natalie Smith and husband Jared of Charleston; his mother, Rita Goldsberry of Dewey, Oklahoma; two sisters, Jo Lynn Armstrong and Nancy King, both of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one brother, Terry Armstrong of Katy, Texas; eight grandchildren, Aaliyah, Leigh, Sierra, Chloe, Jordan, Storm, J.T., and Langston.
Pallbearers will be Gwen Ewing, Steve Selman, Mike Ayers, Brandon Armstrong, Wayne Miller, and Cory Moore.
Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
