Dolores Jean McLaurin who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 in Charleston. She was born January 18, 1943 in Fort Smith to the late Oather D. Wilson and Lucille (Moffett) Wilson. She was 68 years old.
Dolores operated McLaurin's Flowers in Charleston, AR for 25 years. She was owner and operator of Merle Norman Cosmetics in Fort Smith, AR and member of First Assembly of God in Paris.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 28th at First Assembly of God in Paris. Rev. Kenny Maness and Rev. Gary Brown are officiating. Interment will be at Potts Cemetery, southeast of Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
She is survived by her husband, Jesse McLaurin of the home; two sons, Talmage McLaurin of Topeka, Kansas and Steve and wife Ruthie McLaurin of Fort Worth, Texas; two grandchildren, Austin and Victoria.
Pallbearers will be Greg Wilson, David Price, Dennis Price, Mark Cooper, Joe Pistole, Jimmy McCartney, Marvin Wiggins, and Leon Wiggins.
Family will visit with friends 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the funeral home in Charleston.
