Dolores B. Core, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, in Charleston.   She was born July 26, 1928, in Seattle, Washington, to the late Oliver Warner Jacobson and Emma Lorena (Loucks) Jacobson.  She was 90 years old.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Marvin Lynden Core; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Core.

Dolores was a teacher's assistant in California and was a member of First Baptist Church in Charleston.

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2018, officiated by Rev. Artie Hudson, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.  Cremains will be interred at El Camino Cemetery in San Diego, California.  Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Poe of Charleston, Arkansas; two sons, Steven Core of Charleston and Dennis Core & wife Marcia of Grant City, Missouri; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
