Obituary

Dinah Carol (Cook) Kaman of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on March 3, 1959, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late O. E. Ode and Venita Irene (Brewer) Cook. She was 64 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Bill, Jim, Emmett, Doyle, Franky, and Bobby; and her infant sister, Phyllis Ann Cook.

Dinah was a homemaker.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 3rd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Inurnment will follow the visitation at Morris Cemetery in Bloomer, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Tony Kaman; one daughter, Leigh Ann Kaman of Van Buren; two sons, Jason Cook of Van Buren and Matthew Kaman of Grand Prairie, Texas; one sister, Debbie Walker of Charleston; two brothers, Donald Cook and wife Lena of Charleston and Terry Cook and partner David Sims of Palm Springs, California; and one grandchild, Jacob Lee Cook of Van Buren.
