Obituary

Dianna Lee Engstrom, 71, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away suddenly on May 26, 2024. Dianna was born on March 4, 1953, in Sumter, South Carolina, to Edwin and Florence Stoltz. Because Edwin was a pilot in the Air Force, Dianna spent her first 18 years living in many different places, including a few years in Germany and her first two years of high school in Tehran, Iran. She graduated from Camelback High School in Phoenix, AZ, and briefly attended college in Indiana. She lived in Bryan, Ohio, for many years where she met and married her first husband, Kenneth Engstrom. She worked for many years at Citizens National Bank in Bryan.

Dianna moved to Fort Smith in 1993, where she met and married her second husband, George Dixon. After George's death, she was with Rohan Smit (Smitty) until his death in 2023.

Throughout her life, Dianna was devoted to her family, her friends, and her many pets. She enjoyed sharing her talent for cooking with family and friends. She had a sharp sense of humor and enjoyed life. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

Dianna is survived by her brothers, Barry Stoltz and Gary Stoltz.
