Dennis Michael Fitch of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home. He was born on September 15, 1949, in Granite City, Illinois, to the late James Harrison Fitch and Willie Ruth (Eaves) Fitch. He was 72 years old.

Dennis was a retired tool and die maker. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

A memorial graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 19th at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Service in Fort Smith.

He is survived by his wife Diane (Acord) Mayo; a daughter, Michelle Duncan and husband Brad; two sons, Aaron Fitch and wife Danielle, and Stephen Fitch and wife Becca; eight grandchildren, Abigail, Lydia, Cooper, Edyn, Traelyn, Chloe, Gibson and Garner Fitch; and two sisters, Betty Lueck and Dee Tognarelli.
