Dennie Lee Crowell of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Sunday, January 22, 2023, at his home.  He was born on October 14, 1941, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to the late Orville D. Crowell and Rita Mae (Davis) Crowell.  He was 81 years old.

Dennie served in the Army National Guard and attended AST in Conway, Arkansas.

He is survived by one son, Mike Crowell and wife Carrie of Olive Branch, Mississippi; a daughter, Katherine Whittington and husband Cale of Scottsdale, Arizona; a sister, Anita Crowell Huett of Morrilton, Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Georgia Mimms Crowell of Muskogee, Oklahoma; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28th at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, 201 N. 12th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services of Fort Smith.
