Denice Gaye Bercher, who resided in Barling, Arkansas, died Sunday, March 7, 2021, at Northeastern Health System Sequoyah in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was born October 16, 1958, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to the late Claude Edward Hobbs and Verta Bernice (Shaver) Hobbs. She was 62 years old.

Denice was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donnie Bercher; her children, Courtney Holbrook and husband Chris of Barling and Troy Bercher and wife Rita of Muldrow, Oklahoma; a sister, Tracie Steward and husband John of Vilonia, Arkansas and Steve Hobbs and wife Dottie of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Jace Jackson and Harper Jackson.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12th, at the funeral home in Charleston. Cremation will follow after the visitation, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
