Deloris B. Mathes

Deloris B. Mathes of Lavaca, Arkansas, died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at her home. She was born on November 25, 1946, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to the late Cecil Bailey and Nadine Mildred (Moore) Bailey. She was 79 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Lee Mathes; and a son, Kenneth Mathes.

Deloris was a homemaker. She was loved by her family very much and will be missed by all who knew her.

Deloris services will be private and burial of cremains will be placed by her husband at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

She is survived her three son, John Paul Mathes and David Lee Mathes, both of Lavaca, and Ronnie Lee Mathes and wife Kristin of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, Gabbie and husband Spencer, Josef, Lisa, Greyson, Milo, and Finley; and one great-grandson, Tidus.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
