Obituary
David N. Smith, Jr., who resided in Barling, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born July 17, 1969 in Fort Smith to David N. Smith, Sr. and Zeta (House) Smith. He was 48 years old.
David was a co-owner of H & S Plastics in Lavaca. He enjoyed golfing, motorcycles and was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 25th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Steve Stewart and Rev. Bud Reeves officiating. Burial will be at the Island Cemetery, located northeast of Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Smith and wife Jaci of Lavaca; his parents, David Sr. and Zeta Smith of Fort Smith; and one grandchild, MaryGrace Marie Smith.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Taylor, Mike Vaughn, Terry Law, Joe Law, James Hobbs and Hayden Taylor.
Family will visit with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
