Obituary

David Watson Sawyer resided at Fort Smith, Arkansas, departed this life Sunday, January 18, 2009, in his home. He was born August 3, 1929 in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Jeff Whitlow Sawyer and Flore Watson Sawyer. He was 79 years old.

He was a retired vice-president of sales for ABF, was an Army Captain and Company Commander in Korea, was a pilot in the Army and a member of the Shepherd's Chapel in Gravette.

His body was cremated under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at the Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with burial of cremains at the Center Valley Cemetery, south of Bloomer, under the direction of the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home; one daughter, Kerri Norman of Fort Smith; one son, Buzz Sawyer of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Wesley Sawyer, Sara Sawyer, Nathan Norman, and Natalie Norman.
