Obituary

David Ellis "Dave" Eslinger, who resided in Fort Smith, died Sunday, April 5, 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born August 10, 1942, in Fort Smith, to the late Maston Ellis Eslinger and Minnie Jane (Lovell) Eslinger. He was 77 years old.

Dave served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired appliance repairman and owner and operator of Dave and Daughter's on Grand Ave. in Fort Smith. Dave was considered a competitive poker player, and he loved to play in poker tournaments in the area with his friends. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Marcia (Menthes) Eslinger; his three daughters, twin daughters, Sheryl Taylor and husband Raymond of Fort Smith and Sharon Eslinger of Fort Smith and daughter, Michele Eslinger; one granddaughter, Rachel Taylor and one grandson, Noah Michael Lambdin.
