Darren Raye Hutchins of Lavaca, Arkansas, died Friday, August 19, 2022, in Lavaca. He was born on January 7, 1980, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Ronnie Raye Hutchins and Diana Sue (Taylor) Hutchins. He was 42 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Hutchins; his paternal grandmother, Helen Hutchins, and maternal grandfather, Robert Taylor.

Darren was a 1998 graduate of Lavaca High School and member of Lavaca First Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 24th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Pastor Steven Smithson officiating. Burial will follow at Measles Cemetery in Lavaca, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Bradshaw and husband Matthew of Hackett; his mother, Diana Hutchins of Lavaca; a brother, Blake Hutchins and wife Sarah of Lavaca; a sister, Jessica Hutchins of Oregon; his paternal grandfather, Roy Hutchins and wife Brenda of Magazine; his maternal grandmother, Lavelle Chronister of Lavaca; and one nephew, Tytus Hutchins.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Taylor, Michael McGee, Kendall Downs, Rance Dooly, Andy Edgerton and Wade Chronister.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at the funeral home.
