Danny Lawrence McCarroll of Greenwood, Arkansas, died Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Heart of Hospice Inpatient Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on January 3, 1951, in Paragould, Arkansas, to the late Lawrence McCarroll and Iva Lee (Adams) McCarroll. He was 73 years old.

Danny was a retired loan officer in the banking industry. He was an avid golfer and loved his family very much.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie (Sackman) McCarroll; his daughter, Ashley Woodhull and husband Robert of Greenwood; a step-son, Brian Bangs of Charleston; a sister, Suzanne Grider and husband Jim of Bella Vista, Arkansas; a brother, Phil McCarroll and wife Vanessa of Jacksonville, Florida; his granddaughter, Natalie Woodhull of Greenwood; and a step-grandson, Hayden Bangs of Fort Smith.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
