Charles Danny Davis, who resided in Charleston, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022, in his home. He was born on February 11, 1946, in Vivian, Louisiana, to the late Clarence Danny Davis and Thelma Lucille (Wiggins) Davis. He was 76 years old.

Danny was retired from Exxon oil and gas company. He loved fishing, hunting, and playing golf and especially making memories with his grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5th at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston, with Rev. Steven Smithson officiating. Cremation will follow after the service under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Comer) Davis of the home; a daughter, Melanie Davis and husband Micheal Overby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a son, Keith Davis and wife Sabrina of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a twin sister, Diane Whatley of Blanchard, Louisiana; a brother, Ronnie Davis and wife Murna of Lorena, Texas; three grandchildren, Zack Gattis, Zane Moore, and Lanie Moore; and a great-grandchild, Ryder Gattis.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
