Obituary

Connie Beth Simmons, age 73, was born in Livermore, California, on May 22, 1950, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 29, 2023, at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Abb F. Davis; her mother, Ruth B. (White) Davis; her two brothers, George and Ben; and her sister, Betty.

Connie always felt her greatest achievement was her two girls, Toni and Leslee, her grandchildren, Megan and Brady, and her great-grandchildren, Kingston, Zaylee Jo and Elijah.

She felt her second achievement was her almost 22 years as a Little Rock police officer. She was a member of the Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police and received numerous awards and recognition for her courage, honor, and bravery and made a difference in so many lives. She was an avid Christmas card maker. Each year, she would handcraft approximately 500 cards for our veterans at Fort Roots in Memory of her dad, Abb Davis. She was very passionate about creating personalized birthday and special occasion cards for all those she loved.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 5th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, with the Rev. Billy Byrd and Bro. Mickey Stumbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She leaves behind her two daughters, Toni Danos (Aaron) and Leslee Patterson (Eli); her two grandchildren, Megan Clark and Brady Patterson; two bonus grandchildren, Kaylen and Kassidy Danos; three great-grandchildren, Kingston, Zaylee Jo and Elijah Foster; as well as a special aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of wonderful friends: Aunt Georgie, Sylvia, Orville Lee, Diane, Benny, Cindy, Ronny, Angie, Shirley Ann, and Becky. She loved and treasured each of you and she felt her Davis family was the best in the world.

Pallbearers are Aaron Danos, Eli Patterson, Abb Childers, Brady Patterson, Benny Davis, and Ronny Davis.

Honorary pallbearer will be Steve Childers.

The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service starting at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
