Clyde Nathaniel Booth, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 13, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born on September 10, 1942, in Charleston, Arkansas, to the late John Whitsett Booth and Verda Edith (Biggs) Booth. He was 79 years old. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Booth.

Clyde was general manager at O'Neal Ford dealership in Jonesboro, Arkansas for 10 years then returned to Fort Smith where he worked at Breeden Dodge, and from there he became co-owner and manager at Breeden Nissan. He then became self employed in the used car business. He owned Booth Auto Sales, then later he owned Booth Cycle Shop until he had to sell it and retire in 2018 due to his health problems. Clyde's greatest joy was his family. He loved his kids and grandkids dearly and prayed for them daily. He will be remembered for his love of God, family, and country.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24th at East Side Baptist Church in Fort Smith, with Pastor Rick Gering officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Paulette (Whitson) Booth of the home; two daughters, Michele Green and husband Roger of Kibler and Melinda Medlock and husband Toby of Alma; four grandchildren, Stephanie Chrisman, Ashley Cooper, Regan Medlock, and Madison Hilderbrand; and six great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Mason, Morgan, Sophia, Callum, and Cora Jane.
