Clettes Jane Steege of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at Greenhurst Nursing Center in Charleston, Arkansas. She was born on May 14, 1928, in Mingo, West Virginia, to the late Jesse Dingess and Virgie (Bailey) Dingess. She was 96 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dewayne Thompson; a daughter, Judy Mills; and two grandsons, Steven Hensley and Greg Hensley.

Clettes was a homemaker. Her favorite hobbies were playing cards, dominos, quilting, crocheting, and she enjoyed traveling. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Hensley of Winnemucca, Nevada; a son-in-law, Roy Mills of Van Buren; (11) grandchildren; (12) great-grandchildren; and (13) great-great grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
