Claudette Bagwell, who resided in Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born July 10, 1935 in Houston, Texas to the late Arthur Thompson and Lotti (Bock) Thompson. She was 80 years old. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Tommy Bagwell and Walter Morris Halley; and one grandson, Chance Fontenot.
Claudette was an office manager for Fresh America in Orlando, Florida. She was a graduate of St. Agnes Academy High School in Houston, a lifetime member of the Charleston Riding Club, she loved all animals, and was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Fort Smith.
Rosary service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 29th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston.
Funeral mass will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 30th, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Charleston. Burial will be at Nixon Cemetery in Charleston, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
She is survived by two daughters, Claudia (Halley) Uhrig and husband Timothy of Loveland, Colorado and Tammy Speer and husband Kevin of Cecil; two sons, Robert Morris Halley of Collinsville, Texas and Raymond Bagwell and wife Annette of Brandon, Florida; two sisters, Aileen Robertson of California and Ginger Bock of Cypress, Texas; (17) grandchildren and (9) great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Bagwell, Jacob Baggett, Jonathan Baggett, J.R. Brown, Kevin Speer, and Timothy Uhrig.
Family will visit with friends following the rosary service.
