Christine E. Conner, who resided near Lavaca, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Booneville. She was born on September 27, 1933, in Mulberry, Arkansas, to the late Alfred Alston and Hattie (Hunter) Alston. She was 90 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Charles Conner; three sisters, Punkin Boyd, Pug Thompson and Wanda Brown; and a brother, Al Alston.

Christine was a retired secretary/accountant and member of Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Koch of Paris; two grandsons, Jack Hewett and wife Amanda of Ratcliff and Todd Hewett and wife Jackie of Lavaca; and three great-grandchildren, Ashton Hewett, Stella Hewett and Jax Hewett.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial of cremains will be at Caulksville Cemetery in Caulksville at a later date.

Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.
