Charlotte Ann Hamilton, who resided in New Blaine, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, in New Blaine. She was born February 9, 1943, in Black Oak, Texas, to the late James D. Martin and Ester (Gossett) Martin. She was 78 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hamilton.

Charlotte was a homemaker and a member of the Midway Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9th at Midway Assembly of God Church in Midway, with Rev. Rick Nye officiating.  Burial will follow at Ellsworth Cemetery near Midway, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

She is survived by three daughters, Marie Sparks and husband Jimmy of Paragould, Julie Woodard and husband Daniel of Jonesboro, and Malynda Hamilton of New Blaine; two sons, James Weems and wife Shannon of Eustace, Texas, and Gem Weems and wife Jenny of Edgewood, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Sparks, Nathan Sparks, Scotty Gulley, Thad Gulley, Zachary Godfrey, and Marc Cunningham.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
