Charles Edward "Charlie" Loughridge, 65, of Charleston, died Thursday, January 31, 2008, in Little Rock. He was born July 9, 1942, in Charleston. He was a retired painter, served in the Army National Guard, and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2008, at The Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at The Garden of Memories in Charleston. He is survived by two sons, Chad Loughridge of New Blaine and Curtis Loughridge of Maumelle; his father and step-mother, Sam and Fran Loughridge of Charleston; two sisters, Mary Bohannan and Peggy Neal both of Charleston; one brother, Tudy Loughridge of Charleston, and three grandchildren. Pallbearers are Trae Neal, Jonathan, Greg, and Scott Bohannan, Dale Norman, and John Miesner. Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Free Will Baptist Church Men's Prayer Breakfast or First Free Will Baptist Church Life Center in Charelston.
