Charley Barnett

Charley Barnett was born on May 16, 1947, in Clarksville, Arkansas, to the late Dillon Barnett and Alma (Westcott) Barnett. He was 79 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Petra (Drewry) Barnett; his brothers, James, Ray, Leon, John, and Robert; and his sisters, Joyce Ledford, Louis Oliver, and Sadie Omo.

Charley owned and operated Charley's Tree Service. 

A "Celebration of life" will be announced at a later date.

He is survived by one son, Charles Barnett of Van Buren; three daughters, Robin Walker, JoJo Hudson, and Lisa Barnett, all of Fairbury, Nebraska; a sister-in-law, Gail Barnett; two nephews, Jerry Moore and wife Susie of Fort Smith and Robert McAlister and wife Darla of Van Buren; a niece, Elizabeth Massengale and husband Richard of Muldrow, Oklahoma; numerous grandkids; great nieces and nephews; and a family friend, Clover Blansett of Fort Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Andrew Persaud, Chance Neidecker, Mordecai Moore, Woody Moore, Robert McAlester, and Travis Moore.
