Charles Eugene Willhite, who resided in Spiro, Oklahoma, died Thursday, February 18, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on January 24, 1949, in Danville, Arkansas, to the late Junior J. Willhite and Eva Hilda Jean (Anderson) Willhite. He was 73 years old.

Charles was a retired carpenter and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his children, Chuck Willhite, Jr. and David Willhite, both of Alva, Oklahoma, and Cheryl Fowler of Tulsa, Oklahoma; a step-daughter, Jeanette Glosson of Pocola, Oklahoma; four sisters, Donna Silva of Sanger, California, Delores Martin of Spiro, Oklahoma, Doris Willbanks of Fort Smith, and Debbie Stroud of Spiro, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
