Charles Edward Ragan, who resided in Barling, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith. He was born October 3, 1967, in Ozark, Arkansas. He was 53 years old. He was preceded in death by his father, William Edward Ragan; and a sister, Teresa Moody.

Charles worked for West Fraser Mansfield Sawmill Company in Mansfield, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Bro. John VanGorder officiating. Cremation and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his children, Derek Ragan and wife Jessica of Charleston, Joseph Ragan and Caleigh Fletcher of Barling, William Ragan and wife Codi of Fort Smith, and Josh Corte of Charleston; his brother, Keith Ragan and wife Misty of Huntington; and two grandchildren.
