Charles T. Pearson, who resided in Paris, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021, at Baptist Health in Fort Smith. He was born on November 29, 1943, in Scranton, Arkansas, to the late Charles A. Pearson and Lucille (Cauldwell) Pearson. He was 78 years old. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles T. Pearson, Jr., and a granddaughter, Joya Beckett.
He was a truck driver for Stapp Trucking in Ozark, a deacon at Full Gospel Mission Church in Paris, a Justice of the Peace, and a former Chief of Police in Paris.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 10th at McVay Cemetery in Carbon City, with Bro. Arlen Johnson and Bro. Bill Culver officiating, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.
He is survived by his wife Sue (Lovelace) Pearson of the home; a son, Stephen Wade Pearson and wife Lisa of Berryville; a daughter, Mikeala Joyce Kingsley of Berryville; a sister, Daisy Parsons and husband R.L. of Paris; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two dogs, BitBit and Tooty.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home in Paris.
