Obituary

Charles David "Charlie" Fowler, who resided in Barling, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. He was born July 8, 1963 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to the late Charles Lee Fowler and Margie Kay (Morrison) Fowler. He was 50 years old.

Charlie was an operator at International Paper Company in Fort Smith for 18 years, and was a 1981 graduate of Northside High School in Fort Smith.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 30th, at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with the Rev. Seth Young officiating. Burial will be at Infant Cemetery, located southwest of Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Sanders) Fowler; two daughters, Heather Bowman and husband John of Hartford and Hannah Walker of the home; three sons, David Fowler of Van Buren, Aaron Fowler and wife Cassie of Barling, and Hayden Walker of White Hall; one brother, Johnny Fowler and wife Carol of Barling; four grandchildren, Brayden Fowler, Ashton Bowman, Dominic Bowman, and Connor Bowman; one niece, Taylor Fowler; his father-in-law, Marion Sanders of Rose, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Fowler, David Fowler, Jamie Suter, John Bowman, Robert McClain, John Avery, Steve Gaddis, and Rick Clark.

Family will visit with friends 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
