Charlene Hicks, who resided in Jenny Lind near Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, in Fort Smith. She was born on August 5, 1976, in LaFollette, Tennessee, to Clyde Muse and Freda Leona (Williams) Muse. She was 47 years old.

Charlene was a member of Rose Garden Full Gospel Church in Jenny Lind.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18th at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston, with Pastor Dwayne Driggers and Pastor Larry Elmore officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery near Greenwood, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

She is survived by her daughter, Brianna Wallace of Mansfield; her father, Clyde Muse of Lavaca; her mother, Freda Williams of Jenny Lind; a brother, Keith Nichols of Jenny Lind; a sister, Jennifer Driggers and husband Dwayne of Siloam Springs; and one granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Clyde Muse, Keith Nichols, Brant Driggers, Buck Morris, and Cary Wickersham.

The visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday with the service starting at 2:00 p.m.
