Cecil Don Lemons

Cecil Don Lemons, who resided near Paris, Arkansas, died Friday, June 5, 2026, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on August 8, 1955, in Nocona, Texas, to the late Lewis Ray Lemons and Virginia Claudine (Tadlock) Lemons. He was 70 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-dad, Bob Dean; a brother, Elton Makuaole; and a step-brother, Max Dean.

For many years, Cecil was a truck driver and was the owner and operater of C.W. Lemons, Inc. He retired from trucking for Tyson Foods, Inc. and was currently driving a school bus for Paris School District. Cecil loved riding horses, camping, kayaking, traveling, but most of all, spending time with the grandkids and great-grandkids. He was loved by his family very much and will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 11th at First Christian Church in Paris, with the Rev. H.C. Varnadore officiating. Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Paris.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Tina (Wilmont) Lemons; his children, Jessica Callahan and husband Michael of Ratcliff, Heather Owen and husband Jeff of Westfork, Kyle Lutrell and wife Linda of Van Buren,Bobby Koenigseder and wife Jennifer of Pottsville, Jeffery Koenigseder and wife Whitney of Scranton, Ashley Anhalt and husband Seth of Paris, and Michael Dick and wife Tyniesha of Subiaco; his siblings, Cecilia Cummings and husband David of Paris, Denise Dean and companion Mark Willhite of Paris, Eddie Lemons and wife Pam of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Beth Wurst of Paris; his mother-in-law, Rachel Brooks of Paris; (14) grandbabies, Jake Lemons and wife Kayla, Alex Wagner and husband Lee, Dylan Owen, Jaxson Koenigseder, Chevy Anhalt, Bentley Koenigseder, Kolton Koenigseder, Luke Koenigseder, Ethan Lutrell, Rozlin Lutrell, Hayden Dick, Lindlee Buckner, Onna Rice, and Bella Rice; and (8) great-grandkids.
