Cathy Jean Edgerton of Fort Smith, Arkansas, died Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Heart of Hospice Unit at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on June 24, 1961, in Beardstown, Illinois, to the late Donald Hubbard and Shelby (McGlauchlen) Hubbard. She was 64 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mark Hubbard; and a sister, Diana Plumley.

For several years, Cathy was a legal secretary for Walker Law Firm and Price Law Firm in Fort Smith. Her favorite past time was going camping and enjoying the outdoors. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Rick Edgerton and wife Ashlie of Fort Smith, and two grandchildren, Rylie Edgerton and Conner Edgerton.
