Carl Dean Griffin, who resided in Van Buren, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at his home. He was born April 13, 1943, in Laclede County, Missouri, to the late Vester and Lorene (Garrett) Griffin. He was 78 years old.

Carl was an excavator / truck driver for many years and a member of the Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa of the home; four sons, David Griffin, Sergio Licea, and Shawn Pepper of Lebanon, Missouri and Ryan Pepper of Van Buren; five daughters, Cindy Evans and Becky Holton of Lebanon, Cheri Heltzel of Conway, Missouri, Traci Barrett of Brumley, Missouri and Angel Henry of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; and a brother Ed Griffin of Lebanon, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
