Carl Riley Goins of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, in Fort Smith. He was born on May 22, 1952, in Fort Smith to the late A.B. Goins and Shirley (Bates) Goins. He was 73 years old.

For many years, Carl was a business owner and a salesman. His favorite hobbies were gardening, watching old westerns, and barbequing. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda (Harlan) Goins; two daughters, Cheryl Hilliard and husband Michael of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kristi Kastenbaum and husband David of Phoenix, Arizona; a sister, Neita Banks of Fort Smith; a brother, Robert Goins of Hackett; and two grandchildren, Lauren Hilliard and Eli Kastenbaum.

A family held memorial graveside service and burial of cremains will be at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 3rd at Mt. Zion Cemetery near Hackett.
