Carl Toby Edwards resided at Charleston, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday, October 4, 2008, in his home. He was born April 2, 1927 in Red Oak, Oklahoma to the late Everett B. Edwards and Mary Maness Edwards. He was 81 years old.
He was a truck driver for American Bakery, a retired poultry farmer, was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Assembly of God.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 09, 2008, at the Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston with burial at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas at 1:00 p.m. with military honors.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita, of the home; one daughter, Laverne Gray of Folsom, California; three sons, Carl Toby Edwards Jr. of San Bruno, California, Dan Edwards of Orangevale, California and Stan Edwards of Ratcliff, Arkansas; one sister; Cindy Swayze of Desoto, Texas; (7) grandchildren, (16) great-granchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren.
Pall Bearers will be Benny Pittman, David Cossey, Stan Edwards, Dan Edwards and Carl Edwards Jr..
