Carl Braskin Adair of Branch, Arkansas, died Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his home. He was born on October 13, 1957, in Booneville, Arkansas, to the late Louie Braskin Adair and Violet Lydamae (Churchill) Adair. He was 67 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four brothers, James, Johnny, Doyle, and Alonzo Adair.

Carl was an antique car collector and sold firewood. His friends gave him the nickname Oscar.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 30th at Mountain Grove Cemetery, located near Booneville, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his companion, Shirley Hammack of Branch; a sister, Lillie Scoggin and husband Byron of Van Buren; a brother, Jim Adair and wife Kathy of Booneville; a sister-in-law, Mary Adair of Wagoner, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; along with numerous great nieces and nephews; and a very close friend who he considered his son, Clifford Patton.

Pallbearers are family members.
